Thomas G. Pitts
Mr. Pitts joined the Board of Riverside Research in 2006 and serves as the Vice Chairman. He has over 35 years of experience in the management of engineering, research, government acquisition, and industrial operations. Mr. Pitts has served as general manager and vice president for divisions of Goodrich, Raytheon, Hughes Aircraft, and Northrop Grumman. During his career, Mr. Pitts was engaged in state of the art research, development, and production programs for government and industry applications. His areas of responsibility included optical systems and sensors, satellite attitude control systems, imaging technology, surveillance systems, and reconnaissance systems. Prior to joining industry, Mr. Pitts held various senior positions in the Surveillance Directorate at the USAF Rome Air Development Center (RADC). Mr. Pitts received a BS degree in Physics from St. Bonaventure University and an MS in System Management from the University of Southern California.
