Background and Current Work

Leading a technically-diverse engineering team, Dr. Stephen J. Wrazien has supported the Air Force for over six years performing embedded systems research and development (R&D) as well as interfacing with various government organizations and industry leaders. His expertise includes embedded system design, FPGAs, cryptography, and embedded hardware security. Dr. Wrazien developed custom hardware test platforms and analytic tools meeting customer requirements while maintaining an aggressive schedule and budget. He implements and enhances state-of-the-art techniques to provide innovative solutions to meet the R&D demands of his customer.

Dr. Wrazien also has experience in developing radiation-hardened non-volatile memory, embedded firmware, and hardware systems. His efforts have produced and delivered fully-functional solutions meeting performance, form factor, and cost/schedule requirements fielded in Department of Defense (DOD) systems. Dr. Wrazien also holds three US patents for his R&D work.

Education, Awards, and Recognition

Dr. Wrazien received his PhD in electrical engineering and his MS in electrical engineering from Lehigh University. At the University of Scranton, where he received his BS in electrical engineering, he was honored with the Dr. A. J. Cawley Award for Excellence in Electrical Engineering.
