Genevieve is an electromagnetics engineer specializing in electromagnetic modeling, simulation, and measurement. In support of multiple US government customers, Ms. Hankins develops high-fidelity CAD models and performs simulations and analysis to support the EM Lab's ongoing applied research projects. She utilizes her extensive experience in antenna measurements and RF testing to enhance her computational analysis and validation work, which permits her to prepare models and produce extremely accurate predictions in very rapid time frames. Ms. Hankins also has measurement and testing experience in laboratory settings such as anechoic chambers and reverberation chambers as well as in the field.
Education, Awards, and Recognition
Ms. Hankins received a BS and MS degree in Electrical Engineering from Old Dominion University. As a graduate student, she was a recipient of the NASA Graduate Student Researcher’s Program (GSRP) Fellowship at NASA Langley Research Center's High Intensity Radiated Fields (HIRF) Laboratory. Her thesis focused on modeling electromagnetic propagation inside aircraft cabins.
