Dayton, Ohio – Riverside Research announced today that the company will be a Diamond Sponsor of the 2013 Ohio UAS Conference hosted by the Dayton Development Coalition (DDC) April 23-25 at Sinclair Community College. “We are proud to support the DDC in bringing together key officials from within the UAS community to chart the path toward achieving UAS integration into the National Airspace System,” said Richard Annas, President of Riverside Research.
As an independent, not-for-profit organization and active member of the Ohio Airspace Strategic Integration Study (OASIS) and the Alliance for Human Effectiveness and Advancement (AHEAD), Riverside Research provides trusted, end-to-end solutions to the UAS community for both military and commercial operations.
“Our industry-leading capabilities in remote sensing phenomenology, data analysis, airborne sensors and ground systems engineering, mission planning, and education and training make us a unique ‘one-stop shop’ for all UAS operations,” said Annas. “From the exhibit hall to the breakout panels to the training sessions, our breadth of UAS expertise will be on display at the 2013 Ohio UAS Conference.”

Several experts will be on hand to demonstrate UAS course development and instruction, independent research and development efforts in precision agriculture, and mission planning tools such as the customizable Aircraft Mission Planner (iAMP) that integrates digital GIS data with platform and sensor characteristics to quickly plan, analyze, and re-plan collection missions for both manned and unmanned, fixed- or rotary-wing aircraft. Demonstrations will occur on demand and at scheduled times throughout the day at booth 7. Live updates will be posted on Twitter @RiversideRsch during the conference.
Join us for the Precision Agriculture Panel Session
Glen Salo, Manager of the company’s Computational Science and Engineering (CSE) Lab, will lead the Precision Agriculture Panel on Tuesday, April 23.
