Riverside Research to Showcase Textbook, Big Data Solutions, and Mobile App at GEOINT 2013*
TAMPA, FL – Riverside Research, a leading technical advisor in the development and application of full-spectrum geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) capabilities, will showcase three new solutions for the intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) community at the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation’s (USGIF) tenth annual GEOINT 2013* Symposium in Tampa, Florida, April 14-17, 2014.
“This is one of our best exhibit showcases in ten years of GEOINT symposia,” said Jim Bower, Vice President for Business Development at Riverside Research. “Attendees will be able to preview our soon-to-be-released remote sensing textbook, learn how our collaboration with IBM and Exelis VIS is changing Big Data analytics for ISR, and try our new GEOINT mobile app for warfighters. The nation’s preeminent intelligence event is the perfect venue to share these exciting new advancements, each of them stemming from our independent research and development program.”
First-of-its-kind Remote Sensing Textbook
The Phenomenology of Intelligence-focused Remote Sensing is the first graduate-level textbook of its kind to include phenomenology, sensors, and intelligence applications under one cover. Authored and published by Riverside Research under a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement with the Air Force Institute of Technology, this text is a valuable resource for intelligence analysts, intelligence production managers, collection managers, and intelligence product end-users, as well as faculty, staff, and students across the spectrum of academia, government, and industry.
“This textbook represents a truly meaningful milestone in the evolution of teaching the technical components of GEOINT phenomenology,” said Keith Masback, CEO, USGIF. “It should be part of every GEOINT professional’s library and will readily serve as a superb basic or applied remote sensing reference.”
