Riverside Research is happy to welcome 16 summer interns this year!

Riverside Research Welcomes 16 Summer Interns -

Our intern program offers real-life, hands-on experience to undergraduate and graduate students as they work across several of our business units on diverse and challenging projects such as bringing applications to the cloud, implementing state-of-the-art machine learning techniques, modeling infrared attenuation in the atmosphere, and developing radar systems for identifying objects in outer space. Our interns will be gaining knowledge in a variety of technical areas.

This year, our interns hail from an eclectic collection of colleges and universities across the country such as Bowdoin College, George Mason University, Georgia Institute of Technology, New York University, Rochester Institute of Technology, Tufts University, University of Cincinnati, University of Dayton, University of Kentucky, University of Massachusetts, University of New Mexico, and Wentworth Institute of Technology. Out of the 16 interns joining Riverside Research, six of them are returning from the previous year.

This is also our first year partnering with the National GEM Consortium’s GEM Fellowship Program, which supports underrepresented students at the master’s and doctoral levels in engineering and science. Through this new partnership, we welcome two graduate-level interns supporting our Open Innovation Center’s Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning team.

Throughout the summer, Riverside Research interns will have the opportunity to meet scientists and other experts within the organization and learn about their career paths, as well as taking a deeper dive into each of our research areas. We are excited to have this group of talented students join our team and look forward to the amazing contributions they will make to Riverside Research.
