Riverside Research Welcomes New Trustee, Cynthia Downes
Riverside Research is honored to announce the election of Ms. Cynthia Downes to its Board of Trustees. Ms. Downes is a senior executive with over 35 years of experience leading technology-based and professional service businesses.
She currently owns and operates Downes Consulting, a financial consultancy firm providing highly sophisticated revenue recognition, contract compliance, and other financial operations support. She is the former Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Versar Inc., a $170 million engineering and construction management company.
“Ms. Downes’ leadership and wealth of knowledge adds great value to our board,” said Mr. John Giering, Chairman of the not-for-profit’s Board of Trustees. In the past year, Riverside Research has been awarded several large contracts to support customers in the Department of Defense and intelligence community. “Her extensive financial experience will help ensure Riverside Research’s strong growth continues in a sustainable direction.”
Ms. Downes began her Riverside Research Board of Trustee duties effective November 13, 2018.
